Riding Lessons

Elway Farms,  LLC
Lovettsville VA

is a small, low-key, yet challenging riding school.
We offer English/Huntseat riding instruction for kids from 5 years old through adult.
We have all types of programs suited to teach a beginner or an advanced rider.  We have many students who enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of a riding lesson once or twice a week, and we also have students who are highly competetive at the horse shows.
We make it a point to design a program that is custom made to your goals.

About our programs:

At  Elway Farm we try to make the lesson schedule adaptable to the hectic winter holidays, the school schedules and also the summer vacations we all like to take.

With those times taken into consideration, we have two kinds of lesson programs:

1) When school is in session and our weather is mostly cooperative ( March, April, May,June,Sept ,Oct and Nov ) lessons are paid for each month at the first of the month.

2) when school is NOT in session or the weather is too cold (Jan,Feb,July,Aug and December) lessons are paid for when you ride.

When school is in session our schedules are in a routine. During the months listed it is required to pay for your lessons for the entire month. There are no cash refunds for unused or missed lessons..

When school is not in session  and our schedules are more apt to change due to vacations, holidays, etc then Elway Farm allows the lessons to be paid for when you take your lesson.

Please click on " REGISTRATION FORM " for information or call or ext for info at 703-727-1285.

You lesson will be rescheduled free of charge if: ....

 1)  Loudoun County Schools are closed due to inclimate weather.

2)  If the instructor contacts you and says that your lesson is canceled.

Other than the 2 reasons listed above....
you are responsible to pay for the lessons you have scheduled. If you can't make the lesson it is still your responsiobility to pay for the time that has been allotted to you.

3)  There are no cash refunds for missed or unused lessons

... For safety reasons  parents are asked to REFRAIN from giving their child instructions, offering them drinks, or anything that distracts the  child  from listening to the teacher.  Once your child is in the ring or the barn with his or her instructor, parents need to allow the instructor to do the teaching.  Parents should never shout-out instructions to their child while he/she is riding in a lesson or working with the horses around the barn.  Your child needs to focus on only ONE teacher.

There are no CASH refunds for unused lessons or missed lessons
