Elway Farms,  LLC  Lovettsville VA   is a small, low-key, yet challenging riding school.  We offer English/Huntseat riding instruction for kids from 5 years old through adult.    We have all types of programs suited to teach a beginner or an advanced rider.  We have many students who enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of a riding lesson once or twice a week, and we also have students who are highly competetive at the horse shows.  We make it a point to design a program that is custom made to your goals.

About our programs:    Try-it-Lesson  $45 to try a lesson.  1 lesson/wk    $175/ month for 1 lesson/ wk. We require this type of program from April 1st - Jun 30 and Aug 31- Dec 31.  2 lessons/wk  $330 month for 2 lessons/wk Pay as you go ONLY in WINTER : $35 per lesson from January 1- March 31. It is  a great discount to keep you riding even though it is a little colder. We have lights inthe ring and a heated tackroom...so take advantage of the discount and keep up you riding.   Pay as you go for SUMMER : $45 per lesson from July 1st-August 31.  A lot of clients take long vacations in the summer. For that reason we offer a pay as you go lesson program at $45 per lesson in the summer. If you are around for the majority of the summer, it is more cost effective to pay the discounted lesson fee of $175/month. But we leave the choice up to you.     Please go to the   REGISTRATION PAGE  to sign up for lessons

LESSONS DO NOT HAPPEN WHEN.....   1)  Loudoun County Schools are closed due to inclimate weather.    2)  If the instructor contacts you and says that lessons are canceled.  Elway Farm  will gladly reschedule your lesson at your convenience within 30 days of the cancellation.     3) Barn is closed to visitors and lesson clients on Mondays. Boarders are of course allowed to come to the barn.       4) Between December 31st and April 1st.  LESSONS HAPPEN,But, check with us if you are unceratin due to the colder weather. Always feel free to call, text or email on the day of your lesson to check your lesson status before heading out to the farm. 703-727-1285 or elway@verizon.net.    NOTE:      If your lesson falls on a day that Elway Farm is closed. You have 30 days to reschedule and TAKE the make up lesson or the lesson is forfeited.

For safety reasons  parents are asked to REFRAIN from giving their child instructions, offering them drinks, or anything that distracts the  child  from listening to the teacher.  Once your child is in the ring or the barn with his or her instructor, parents need to allow the instructor to do the teaching.  Parents should never shout-out instructions to their child while he/she is riding in a lesson or working with the horses around the barn.  Your child needs to focus on only ONE teacher.

Outside of those months,a monthly payment for lessons is required.
